Analyze your Training Focus and Intensity Distribution

The Intensity Distribution section on the Progress tab helps you understand how your training effort is balanced across different intensity zones. By analyzing your Training Focus, you can ensure your workouts align with your fitness goals, whether you're building an aerobic base, improving your threshold, or focusing on high-intensity efforts.

Understanding Your Training Focus

On the Progress tab, the Training Focus card provides a high-level summary of your intensity distribution over the last four weeks.

This card displays:

  • Low Aerobic: The percentage of your training spent in lower-intensity zones, crucial for building your endurance foundation.
  • High Aerobic: The percentage of training in moderate-to-high intensity zones, which helps improve your cardiovascular fitness.
  • Anaerobic: The percentage of training in very high-intensity zones, which boosts your top-end speed and power.

Beneath each percentage, you'll see a status indicator (BELOW, OPTIMAL, or ABOVE) that compares your current distribution to the recommended ranges based on your selected training model.

Detailed Intensity Analysis

Tap the Training Focus card to open a detailed analysis screen. Here, you can toggle between a 4W (4-week) and 12W (12-week) view.

This screen includes:

  • Main Chart: A chart showing the cumulative time spent in each intensity zone over the selected period.
  • 4-Week Overview: A breakdown of the percentage and total duration for each zone (Anaerobic, High Aerobic, Low Aerobic).
  • Long-Term Overview: A 6-month bar chart that visualizes your intensity distribution trends over time, helping you see how your focus has shifted.

Customizing Your Training Focus Model

You can tailor the optimal intensity ranges to match your training philosophy.

  1. From the detailed Training Focus screen, tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.
  2. A menu will appear where you can select your preferred training model:
