How to Monitor Your Respiratory Rate

This guide will show you how to monitor your respiratory rate, a key indicator of your cardiovascular fitness and recovery. By tracking this metric, you can gain insights into how your body is responding to training and lifestyle factors. You will need data synced from a compatible smartwatch.

  1. From the Today tab, scroll down to the Wellbeing section.

  2. Locate the Body Metrics and tap on the Respiratory Rate card, which displays your breaths per minute (br/min). Documentation image

  3. On the Respiratory Rate screen, review the trend graph. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to previous time periods.

  4. To change the time frame, tap the button in the top right (e.g., 7D) and select 7 days, 4 weeks, or 6 months.

  5. Scroll down to view a detailed breakdown, including the overview (Average, Max, Min), time spent in each zone, your typical value, and your personal normal range.
